The Israeli occupation releases five young men from Jabata al-Khashab after a dawn arrest campaign

Media sources reported today, Wednesday, that the Israeli occupation forces released five young men out of seven they had previously arrested in the town of Jabata al-Khashab in the northern Quneitra governorate.

This step comes after an incursion carried out by the occupation forces early this Wednesday, where they raided several homes in the town and arrested seven people amid tight security measures, raising concerns among the residents in the border area.

The town of Jabata al-Khashab is one of the areas that faces repeated violations by the Israeli occupation, due to its strategic location near the ceasefire line, where it occasionally witnesses arrest campaigns and sudden raids, in the absence of any effective international oversight.

Human rights organizations are calling for an end to these violations, which are a clear breach of international law, and emphasize the necessity of protecting civilians in border areas from arbitrary practices that threaten their security and stability.
