Israeli Chief of Staff: We will pursue Hamas leaders abroad after targeting Abu Obeida

Israeli Chief of Staff, Eyal Zamir, stated that his forces will continue to target the leadership of Hamas both inside the Gaza Strip and outside, emphasizing that "most of the movement's leaders reside abroad, but the army will reach them as well."
Zamir's statements came during an assessment of the military situation at the Northern Command headquarters, where he stressed that the army "operates offensively and unexpectedly, taking the initiative to ensure the security of Israeli citizens." He added that the army targeted Abu Obeida, the military spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, yesterday, describing the operation as a step in a series of upcoming strikes.
Zamir pointed out that the army continues its efforts to recover the kidnapped, whether they are alive or dead, clarifying that in recent days, the bodies of Idan Shteifi and Ilan Weiss were recovered through a special operation, bringing the total number of bodies recovered since the start of Operation "Gideon's Chariots" in March to 11.
He confirmed that reserve units will join the service this week in preparation for expanding military operations in the city of Gaza, noting that "the mission is not over yet," and that the army will continue to apply pressure until its objectives are achieved. He concluded by saying: "Our achievements are realized thanks to the commitment of our soldiers and their repeated readiness to sacrifice for the security of Israel."
