Israeli Army Announces Arrest Operation in Southern Syria Alleging Arrest of 'Arms Dealers'

The Israeli army announced on Tuesday the execution of an arrest operation in southern Syria during the past night.
In a statement, it said: 'During the night hours, the forces of Division 210, in cooperation with Unit 504, carried out an operation in which arms dealers operating in southern Syria were arrested and interrogated,' according to its expression.
The Israeli army did not specify the city or village where the arrest took place.
It claimed that 'the arrest of arms dealers came following intelligence indications about a number of suspects who transported various combat means.'
It also claimed that its forces 'seized combat means found in the area during the operation.'
It indicated that 'Division 210 forces continue to monitor developments in Syria, and are ready to defend and deal with various scenarios.'
