Israel reassembles negotiation team on Gaza for further consultations

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked the mediators for their efforts, stating that the negotiation team will return to Israel for "further consultations." Earlier, it was mentioned that Israel is considering Hamas' response.
Two sources familiar with the negotiations in Qatar stated that Israel's decision to bring back its delegation does not necessarily indicate a crisis in the talks.
"Reuters" quoted a high-level Hamas source as saying that there is still a chance to reach an agreement on a ceasefire in Gaza, but it will take a few days due to what he described as Israeli procrastination.
The source added that Hamas' response included a demand for a clause that prevents Israel from resuming war if an agreement is not reached during the 60-day ceasefire period.
Both sides are facing immense pressure internally and externally to reach an agreement, as the humanitarian situation in Gaza deteriorates sharply amid a severe hunger crisis in the Palestinian territory, shocking the world.
