An Israeli military convoy consisting of more than 12 vehicles loaded with soldiers entered the village of Saida Al-Jolan in the southern countryside of Quneitra on Wednesday morning, 12/02/2025, setting up a temporary checkpoint, while carrying out intensive search operations of homes and passersby in the area.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Israeli forces spread in the western neighborhood of Saida housing, and other groups headed to Al-Hanout road, where they entered a number of civilian homes, in an unprecedented move, causing concern and tension among the residents.
This incursion is part of the ongoing Israeli military escalation in southern Syria since the fall of the previous regime, in both Quneitra and Daraa.
