Hamas's military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, announced on Friday that they targeted Ashkelon with a rocket barrage, while the Israeli army stated that they intercepted two rockets launched from northern Gaza towards the city of Ashkelon, located south of the Strip. Since the resumption of the genocide in Gaza on March 18, Israel has killed 730 Palestinians and injured 1367 others, mostly women and children, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
