Israel continues its military operations in southern Syria.

Israeli forces targeted several areas in the countryside of Quneitra and Daraa once again, as part of their frequent military movements and increasing penetration into Syrian territories that began on 04/02/2025.
Since the start of their incursion into the town of Maaloula in southern Quneitra countryside, Israeli forces conducted extensive searches of civilian homes, withdrew after hours of combing, then returned with additional military vehicles to reinforce their presence in the area.
The area of the Yarmouk Basin west of Daraa also witnessed Israeli military movements, where Israeli forces opened a new road connecting the occupied Golan Heights to a military base near the village of Ma'arriyah, an old Israeli army outpost, in addition to bringing in excavation vehicles and constructing fortifications around the military site to fortify it.
On the other hand, Israeli forces also penetrated the village of Khirbet Seesoun in the Yarmouk Basin area, concurrently with intensive reconnaissance aircraft flying over the region. They also carried out an operation that destroyed an old military facility belonging to the previous regime in Ain al-Nouriya, northeast of Khan Arnabah in the countryside of Quneitra.
Israeli forces also targeted the area of Tel al-Shuhada near the town of Al-Koum in the central countryside of Quneitra, where they destroyed a tank and remaining ammunition from the remnants of the previous regime.
It is worth mentioning that a civilian was injured as a result of Israeli army firing at him while he was herding sheep near the border fence in the town of Ruwayhinah in the countryside of Quneitra, where he was taken to the hospital.
