According to the Syrian Presidency's statement regarding President Ahmed Al-Shara's comments on the "Antalya Forum," he said: "I was pleased to participate in the fourth edition of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum under the slogan (Adhering to Diplomacy in a Divided World)." He added: "This participation stems from the deep belief of the Syrian Arab Republic in the effectiveness of dialogue and diplomacy as the most efficient means to resolve conflicts and promote peace and stability in our region and the world." He continued: "The forum provided a valuable opportunity to exchange views with several leaders and officials on current regional and international challenges, as well as emphasizing the necessity of respecting the unity and sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic's territories." Regarding bilateral meetings, he said: "On the sidelines of the forum, I held a series of bilateral meetings with several participating presidents and leaders, discussing ways to enhance bilateral relations, expand areas of cooperation, and coordinate on issues of mutual interest, serving the interests of our peoples and enhancing security and stability in the region and the world." He concluded by saying: "I extend my thanks and appreciation to my brother, the President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, for his kind attention and warm reception." It is worth mentioning that the forum included heads of states and governments from about 20 countries, as well as foreign ministers from around 60 countries. A special session was dedicated to Syrian issues, enhancing cooperation among participating countries in understanding the Syrian file and addressing the challenges it faces.
