The security authorities in Morocco dismantled a terrorist cell affiliated with the terrorist organization ISIS, consisting of several individuals operating between the cities of Tétouan and Chefchaouen (north).
The Maghreb Arab Press Agency reported that "as part of preemptive security operations aimed at neutralizing the risks of terrorist threats and thwarting sabotage plans that threaten the security and stability of the kingdom and aim to seriously disrupt public order, the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations affiliated with the General Directorate for National Territory Surveillance, in the early hours of Wednesday, dismantled a terrorist cell loyal to ISIS, consisting of 4 extremists operating between Tétouan and Chefchaouen, aged between 20 and 27 years.
A statement from the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations explained that the inspection operations carried out at the suspects' residences led to the seizure of a manuscript containing the "bay'ah" text declared by the members of this cell to the alleged prince of the terrorist organization ISIS, as well as the recording documenting this bay'ah, in addition to a flag symbolizing this organization, and a black uniform consisting of trousers and a jacket bearing extremist content writings, as well as models of weapons, including a rifle equipped with a scope and two pistols, and a set of electronic supports that will undergo the necessary digital expertise.
