The statement from the Iraqi Foreign Ministry said: "Iraq expresses its strong condemnation of the Israeli raids on Damascus, reaffirms its firm stance rejecting any attacks that violate the sovereignty of states, and warns of the danger of the Israeli entity resorting to pretexts or justifications as cover for achieving expansionist goals that undermine stability in the region".
