Iraq announced today, Friday, filing an official complaint to the United Nations Security Council against Israel, accusing it of using Iraqi airspace to carry out military attacks on Iran, describing it as a "blatant violation of international law and the UN Charter."

The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned in a statement Israel's violation of Iraqi airspace and its use in carrying out military attacks in the region, calling on the Security Council to use its powers to deter the Israeli entity and prevent it from repeating such violations.

Sources said that three missiles landed in Iraq since dawn, one in Diyala province (central) did not explode, while the other two caused a four-meter deep crater in Thi Qar province (south).
