Iranian Intelligence Arrests 20 Spies and Operatives Linked to Mossad

The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence announced today, Monday (28 July 2025), the arrest of 20 spies and operatives, both operational and logistical, affiliated with Mossad and connected to Israeli intelligence officers.
The ministry said in a statement as reported by Iranian media: "We managed to uncover and arrest 20 spies and operatives, both operational and logistical, affiliated with Mossad and linked to Israeli intelligence officers."
It added that serious terrorist plots aimed at assassinating 23 officials in the country during the imposed war that lasted for 12 days were thwarted.
It also pointed out that 13 similar conspiracies were uncovered and foiled in the months leading up to the war, preventing the assassination of 35 prominent figures from the political and military leadership in the country.
Earlier today, Iranian authorities accused the United States and what they called the "global arrogance", led by Israel, of being behind the bloody attack on the Justice Court building in the city of Zahedan in the southeast of the country. The attack, claimed by the terrorist group "Jaish al-Adl", resulted in the killing of 9 people and injuring more than 20 others last Saturday.
The head of the judiciary, Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei, said in a statement followed by "Baghdad Today" that "the terrorist attack that took place in Sistan and Baluchestan bears the fingerprints of Washington and Tel Aviv", confirming that "the global arrogance, led by America, is the primary supporter of the crimes of the Zionist entity and the sabotage of security in the world".
