Iran affirms readiness to respond quickly to any attack and accelerate its nuclear program

The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, affirmed that his country "will be more prepared than ever to respond to any attack", indicating that "the Iranian nuclear program will progress faster than before", according to statements reported by the Mehr News Agency.
This comes despite assurances from American officials, led by President Donald Trump, that the recent strikes "ended Iran's nuclear program". Trump stated that "the attacks were necessary to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon", confirming that the important nuclear sites were "completely and entirely destroyed".
In contrast, a U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency assessment, published by American media yesterday, revealed that "the American strikes did not significantly destroy the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear facilities, but only delayed the Iranian nuclear program by a few months".
This escalation comes amid heightened regional tensions, as Israel has assassinated dozens of prominent Iranian military leaders since June 13, including Chief of Staff Mohammad Hossein Baqeri, Revolutionary Guard Commander Hossein Salami, and the head of the "Prophet's Headquarters" Ali Shadmani, who was appointed just days before his assassination.
These operations sparked an unprecedented 12-day war between Iran and Israel before a ceasefire agreement was announced last Tuesday.
