The statement issued by the Internal Security confirmed that "the terrorist elements fled after committing this crime, and security forces pursued them," indicating that the situation has stabilized and the area is under control.
This incident comes days after the announcement by the "Quds" headquarters of the Ground Force of the Revolutionary Guards about the killing and arrest of 6 individuals described as "terrorists" in Chabahar. It was explained that "the cell was planning to carry out terrorist operations in crowded areas, but its plan was thwarted thanks to the vigilance of the locals and the intervention of the 'Salman' Intelligence Division."
