The Internal Security in Aleppo Governorate Arrests a Motorcycle Theft Gang in Azaz

The Internal Security Directorate in the Azaz area of Aleppo Governorate announced today, Sunday, the arrest of a gang specialized in stealing motorcycles, after its members confessed to stealing 17 motorcycles in various areas, and they were referred to the judiciary to complete the legal procedures against them.

The directorate confirmed in an official statement its commitment to protecting citizens' properties, urging residents to cooperate and report any suspicious activity immediately, which contributes to enhancing security and stability in the region.

This operation comes as part of a series of security measures implemented by the directorate to combat organized crime, amid an increase in reports of motorcycle thefts in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

Azaz is considered one of the vital areas that witness active movement of residents and vehicles, making it a repeated target for theft gangs, amid the ongoing need to intensify patrols and enhance security oversight.
