In Violation of the Constitution.. Trump: "I’m Not Joking About the Possibility of Running for a Third Presidential Term"

U.S. President Donald Trump said today, Tuesday, that he may not run for president again, but later stated that he wants to run.

Trump added during an interview with the American network "CNBC": "No, I probably won’t run again." Then he said, "I want to run, I have the best polling numbers ever because people like what I do."

He further stated: "I’m not joking about the possibility of running for a third presidential term," indicating that "there are ways to achieve that."

It is noted that the term of U.S. presidents is limited to two terms of four years each, whether consecutive or non-consecutive, according to the 22nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

Earlier, the American site "Politico" proposed four possible ways Trump could use to bypass the 22nd Amendment: changing the Constitution, circumventing it, ignoring it, or openly challenging it.
