Rudaw network quoted Ilham Ahmed, the co-chair of the Foreign Relations Department in the Autonomous Administration, as saying today, Monday, that the integration of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) into the Syrian Army is conditional on a clear and transparent structure.

Ahmed stated, "The absence of structure complicates the possibility of integration and reinforces the need for independent courts to hold those responsible for violations accountable."

She also affirmed that the unity of Syrian territory is definite, but decentralization remains a fundamental demand to address crises.

She pointed out that the recent events in southern Syria represent a "humanitarian catastrophe" and have turned into a sectarian conflict due to hate speech and incitement.

Regarding relations with Turkey, Ahmed said, "As an important neighboring country, security and political coordination is not a mistake."

She emphasized that the relationship with the United States is extensive and built on a long partnership in combating terrorism, and Washington's involvement in the political solution is a significant development.
