Six public security personnel were killed on Monday, March 3, while dismantling mines in the Al-Ulayaniyah area near Al-Suwayana south of the city of Palmyra in the eastern countryside of Homs.
According to news sources, "the personnel were dismantling a group of mines, which exploded, resulting in their deaths."
The sources added that "the deceased are Jamal Saleh Asaad Al-Saeed, Mohammed Al-Shahada, and Ali Al-Shahada, in addition to Tarrad Al-Aqla Al-Khalidi, Ahmed Al-Mazou Al-Khalidi, and Yousef Al-Khalif Al-Khalidi."
In the same context, the "Syrian Civil Defense" stated that a man was injured on Monday due to the explosion of a landmine from war remnants while he was grazing sheep on the outskirts of the village of Afs in eastern Idlib.
They mentioned that "their teams immediately evacuated the injured to the hospital in the city of Idlib for treatment".
