The Syrian newspaper "Al-Watan" reported today, Saturday, that a Jordanian industrial delegation will arrive in Damascus tomorrow to discuss trade exchange. The report added: "The Amman Chamber of Industry is organizing a visit for an industrial delegation to Syria on Sunday to enhance trade exchange between the two countries and strengthen their economic relations." The Jordanian channel "Al-Mamlaka" mentioned that the five-day visit aims to meet with several institutions involved in trade exchange. It is worth mentioning that Jordan previously welcomed the announcement by US President Donald Trump to lift sanctions on Syria. The Ministry's spokesperson, Sufian Al-Qudah, affirmed the Kingdom's support for the US President's decision as an important step towards rebuilding Syria, opening new horizons for economic cooperation between Syria and the world, leading to prosperity and development for the Syrian people. Al-Qudah reiterated Jordan's absolute support for Syria in rebuilding the country on the basis of ensuring its unity, security, stability, and the safety of its territories and citizens.
