Hamas warns Gaza residents against cooperating with Gaza Humanitarian Foundation

A statement issued by the Ministry of Interior stated: "Dealing, working, providing any form of assistance, or covering with the American institution or its local and foreign agents is strictly prohibited".
The statement added: "Legal actions will be taken against anyone proven to be involved in cooperation with this institution, including imposing the maximum penalties stipulated in the current national laws", without further details.
The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation said in response that it has delivered millions of meals "safely and without interference".
It added: "This statement issued by the Ministry of Interior controlled by Hamas confirms what we have known from the beginning: Hamas is losing control".
The foundation began distributing food in Gaza in late May as part of a new aid distribution model described by the United Nations as lacking neutrality and integrity.
