Guterres strongly condemns the bombing of Nasser Hospital in Gaza and calls for an immediate investigation

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, strongly condemned the killing of several Palestinians due to the Israeli bombing that targeted Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, emphasizing the necessity of respecting international humanitarian law and protecting civilians.

In a statement conveyed by the official spokesperson of the United Nations, Stéphane Dujarric, on Monday, Guterres stressed the "need to respect and protect civilians, including medical workers and journalists, at all times," calling for "an immediate and impartial investigation into these killings."
