Daraa Governor Receives High-Level Jordanian Delegation to Enhance Bilateral Cooperation

Daraa Governor Anwar Taha Al-Zu'bi received an official Jordanian delegation led by Irbid Governor Radwan Mohammad Ali Atoum in a first-of-its-kind visit to the governorate, reaffirming the strengthening of cooperation between Syria and Jordan.

During the meeting held at the Daraa Governorate headquarters, ways to enhance relations between the two cities through twinning Daraa and Irbid were discussed, aiming to enhance integration in economic, developmental, and service sectors.

Both sides also addressed mechanisms to boost trade exchange, expand investment opportunities, and establish direct communication channels between economic entities in both countries to serve the interests of the two fraternal peoples.

Irbid Governor was accompanied during the visit by his assistant Dr. Rami Mohammad Ahmad Obeidat, Director of the Jaber Border Center Brigadier Mohammed Al-Suwaire, and the President of the Irbid Chamber of Industry Hani Musa Issa Al-Abdallat.
