German Foreign Ministry: Allocating more than 80 million euros to UN organizations in Syria

In a post on the "X" platform on the occasion of World Humanitarian Day, Idris confirmed that the need for aid remains significant in Syria.
According to the spokesperson, Germany has provided about 220 million euros in humanitarian aid to Syria during 2024, while the current allocations have been specifically directed to the United Nations and non-governmental organizations to provide food, shelter, and healthcare for needy Syrians.
She also emphasized that humanitarian commitment remains a priority in German foreign policy, noting that her country, despite global challenges, continues to be among the largest humanitarian donors worldwide.
