French President Emmanuel Macron stated during a conference in Paris to discuss the political transition process in Syria, making several remarks.
He said, "Integrating the Syrian Democratic Forces into the Syrian army will help combat terrorism in the region."

He also added, "We have requested the swift lifting of sanctions for the economic recovery in Syria," and announced that France has provided $50 million in aid to Syria this morning.
He emphasized the importance of respecting all groups to facilitate stability in Syria and urged for creating suitable conditions for the return of refugees to participate in the electoral process.

He also mentioned that France will soon host President Ahmed al-Shara.
Macron pointed out that Syrian refugees will receive permits to return to their country.

He stated, "The legitimate Syrian government currently has the right to control all the country's borders."
He added, "We discussed with the new Syrian administration the issue of borders with Lebanon."

He indicated that the conference brought together several creditor parties that will work under UN supervision to serve the Syrian state.

These statements were made during the conference held in Paris to discuss the political transition in Syria, with the participation of Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaaban.
