In a shocking incident that shook the city of Puget-Sur-Argens in southeastern France, a 53-year-old French man shot and killed his Tunisian neighbor with five bullets, before injuring another Turkish citizen in the hand. He then posted two videos on social media containing racist and hateful content. The French Ministry of Justice reported yesterday, Sunday, that the incident occurred on Saturday evening. The suspect's partner informed the gendarmerie, who managed to arrest him after a short car chase near the crime scene. Authorities found several weapons inside the suspect's car, including a machine gun, a hunting rifle, and a regular pistol, according to the prosecutor in Draguignan, Pierre Cortes. The victim, believed to be in his mid-thirties and of Tunisian nationality, has not been officially identified yet. The 25-year-old Turkish man was taken to a hospital in the nearby town of Frejus after being injured in the hand. The suspect, a sports shooter, had posted videos containing racist and hateful messages before and after committing the crime, raising serious concerns about the motives behind the incident. Authorities are continuing their investigations to uncover the circumstances of this crime that has shaken the local community and sparked angry reactions.
