France expresses solidarity with the families of the victims of the chemical massacre in Ghouta

In a post on the "X" platform, the ministry stated: "On August 21, 2013, the bloody regime of Bashar al-Assad launched a chemical attack containing sarin gas on the residents of the Ghouta area, resulting in the deaths of more than 1400 people, including many children."
The ministry added: "As the twelfth anniversary of this heinous crime was marked yesterday, France commemorates the victims and expresses its solidarity with their families and with the Syrian people."
On August 21, 2013, the fallen regime committed the chemical massacre in Ghouta, Damascus, which resulted in the martyrdom of hundreds of innocent civilians, most of whom were women and children, and the injury of thousands more with horrific symptoms of suffocation and poisoning, due to the use of internationally banned chemical weapons.
