In a shocking bloody scene, the Sana'a Governorate in northern Yemen witnessed a horrific crime that resulted in the deaths of five people, including a relative of the perpetrator, following a family dispute that escalated into random gunfire, causing panic among the residents.

According to local sources, the tragedy began when a heated argument broke out between the perpetrator and his wife, prompting him to go to his uncle's house _his wife's father_ after he refused to return his wife to him, where he coldly killed him.
The perpetrator did not stop there; he went out to the main road in the village of "Ruhum Al-Ulya" in the Qaa Al-Qaydi area, south of the capital Sana'a, and began firing randomly, resulting in the deaths of three villagers, in addition to one passerby from a neighboring village called "Hafid".

The crime sparked a wave of outrage among the residents, amidst a state of panic and shock.
The Sana'a Governorate Security Administration _under the control of the Houthi group_ reported that the perpetrator, named "M. A. J", fled after committing the massacre, but the security forces later managed to track him down and arrest him.

A security report clarified that preliminary investigations indicate that the motives for the crime stem from a severe family dispute between the perpetrator and his uncle, and the accused has been referred to the relevant legal authorities in preparation for his trial.

This bloody incident comes amid a sharp rise in cases of domestic violence in Yemen, which has sparked urgent public demands to put an end to the spread of weapons, tighten control over their possession, and hold perpetrators accountable, in an attempt to stop this ongoing societal bleeding and prevent the recurrence of such tragedies.
