The Excellence and Creativity Authority in Syria announced today, Friday, the extension of registration for the national robotics championship "WRO Syria 2025", qualifying for the World Robotics Olympiad, under the theme "The Future of Robots", until the 26th of June. The authority explained in a statement that the registration period has been extended due to the rescheduling of general certificate exams, to allow all interested teams to complete their procedures. It was mentioned that the dates of the approved championship gatherings have been adjusted as follows: Damascus gathering will take place between 8th and 9th of August, Homs1 gathering on the 15th of August, and Homs2 gathering on the 16th of August as well. The authority indicated that the teams will be distributed among these gatherings according to a carefully studied geographical mechanism, ensuring fairness in distribution and balance of numbers in each gathering.
