European Commission: Chance of Reaching a Trade Agreement with Trump Estimated at 50%

President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, today Sunday estimated the chance of reaching a trade agreement with US President Donald Trump at 50%, adding that fairness and rebalancing between the European Union and the United States will be the basis for any agreement reached.

Prior to her meeting with Trump in Scotland, von der Leyen described the US President as a "deal maker and strong negotiator," stating that if they reach an agreement, it would be the biggest agreement both have made.
