President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, affirmed on Wednesday that his country will continue to support the stability of Syria by preserving its territorial integrity and political unity.
This came during his meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in The Hague, Netherlands, on the sidelines of their participation in the NATO summit, according to the Turkish Anadolu Agency on its Telegram channel.
Erdogan also expressed hope for Iran and Israel to commit to a ceasefire, stressing that "regional tensions should not make us forget the ongoing humanitarian disaster in Gaza".
