Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called on the international community to unite on the humanitarian front regarding the genocide committed by Israel in Gaza.

This came in a speech he delivered during his participation on Tuesday in the opening of the 17th International Defense Industry Fair "IDEF 2025" in Istanbul.
Erdogan said: "I call on the international community to unite on the humanitarian front in these dark days where mass deaths due to starvation have begun in Gaza."

He added that the world is going through a phase in which the balance of power is being redefined, global centers of gravity are changing, and international competition is intensifying.

Erdogan explained that the suffering of children who are dying of hunger in Gaza due to the lack of allowing humanitarian aid to enter is of great concern to Turkey.
He affirmed that Turkey will keep on the agenda the collective genocide committed by Israel against the people of Gaza, which far exceeds what the Nazis committed.

He continued: "Our goal is to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza as soon as possible, and allowing humanitarian aid to enter is a priority for us."

The Turkish president pointed out that those who remain silent about the genocide in Gaza are considered accomplices in Israel's crimes against humanity.

Regarding the famine in Gaza, Erdogan said: "Those with human dignity cannot accept the cruelty in which dozens of innocent people die every day because they cannot find a piece of bread or a sip of water."
The Turkish president concluded by saying: "Let us all respond to these crimes and say 'enough' to this injustice and brutality."
He mentioned that Turkey, in addition to the humanitarian aid it provides, is also intensifying its diplomatic efforts to end the brutality in Gaza.
