President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on Monday that Syrian Airlines will soon start operating flights to Turkey, in a reciprocal move that will also see Turkish "AJet" airlines organizing regular flights to Syria. Erdogan emphasized the importance of achieving peace and stability in Syria, noting that it will have a positive impact on all neighboring countries and the region. He expressed great satisfaction with the European countries' decision to lift sanctions on Syria, attributing it to former US President Donald Trump's statements which marked a turning point in this issue. Erdogan stated, "We are extremely pleased with the European countries' decision to lift sanctions on Syria following Trump's statements, which were a turning point."
