Erdoğan: Syria and Iraq Must Stay Out of Israeli-Iranian Conflict

This came during a meeting today, Saturday, between President Erdoğan and Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, following the conclusion of the 51st meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Foreign Ministers Council in Istanbul, according to a statement from the Turkish Presidency's Communications Directorate quoted by Anadolu Agency.
Erdoğan said: "Syria and Iraq must remain outside the scope of this conflict, with the need to reduce tension and open the way for diplomatic solutions, emphasizing the importance of the region's countries continuing their efforts in this regard".
According to the statement, the two sides also discussed bilateral relations between Turkey and Qatar, in addition to regional and international issues.
