During his official visit to the capital Kuala Lumpur on Monday, 10/02/2025, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan affirmed that Israel is not fulfilling its commitment to the ceasefire in Gaza, describing its policy as based on massacres and land occupation.
Erdogan emphasized that Israel must end its occupation of Palestinian territories, compensate for the damages caused, and stressed the necessity of establishing a fully sovereign independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders with its capital in Jerusalem.
Erdogan also explained that Turkey has sent around 100 ships of aid to Gaza and is working on sending more, calling on member states of the "ASEAN" to cooperate in providing necessary humanitarian aid to Gaza.
