Erbil: Security Arrests Killers of an Arab Citizen in Al-Aliwa Market After a Long-standing Dispute

A shooting incident in Al-Aliwa Market in Erbil has caused widespread shock and anger, after it resulted in the death of the Arab citizen Saab Aaid Samar, a day laborer, due to a social dispute dating back to 2020.
After thorough investigations, security authorities revealed that the perpetrators are four individuals from the Rabia district in Nineveh province, who fled the crime scene immediately after committing the act.
In a well-coordinated security operation, in collaboration with the Asayish Directorate of Erbil Districts and with the approval of the investigating judge, authorities managed to arrest the four suspects: (Z. K. S), (S. D. S), (H. K. S), and (M. A. D), along with seizing the weapon and vehicle used in the commission of the crime.
The authorities expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the citizens' cooperation in providing information, emphasizing that their role was crucial in quickly and efficiently reaching the perpetrators and protecting the community from further crimes.
