Local Russian media reported a powerful explosion in a town with a weapons arsenal in eastern Moscow today, Tuesday, prompting authorities to evacuate several towns. Authorities declared a state of emergency in the "Vladimir" region, and an unverified video on Telegram showed a huge ball of flame and thick smoke rising into the sky. According to the Ministry of Defense, the fire was caused by safety violations and led to the explosion of ammunition stored in a warehouse. The ministry added that initial information indicates no fatalities or injuries. The regional governor, Alexander Avdeev, earlier mentioned an explosion in the Kirgach area, with emergency teams working at the scene, but did not provide details. The "Baza" channel, close to security agencies, reported at least 10 to 11 explosions, with firefighters called from nearby areas to contain the fire. The Kirgach region administration announced via Telegram that evacuation operations are ongoing in the villages of Parsovo and Mirny.
