Elon Musk is returning to focus on his technological ventures and is preparing to launch "Starship" next week.

American billionaire Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, announced his return to intensive work after spending four months in the West Wing of the White House as a senior advisor to President Donald Trump.
Musk wrote on his platform "X": "I'm back to working day and night, sleeping in meeting rooms, servers, factories," focusing on developing X, xAI, and Tesla, as well as preparing for the launch of the "Starship" rocket next week.
He added: "I must focus intensely on X, xAI, and Tesla, in addition to launching Starship next week, as we witness the introduction of highly important technologies."
He also mentioned the need for significant operational improvements on the X platform after facing technical issues this week, saying: "The backup system was supposed to work, but it failed."
Commitment to Stay at Tesla and Reduce Political Spending
In a related context, Musk reaffirmed his commitment to lead Tesla for the next five years, expressing in an interview with "CNBC" his desire to maintain "sufficient voting control" to ensure the stability of his management of the company. He said: "It's not about money, it's about reasonable control over the company's future."
This comes amid doubts from some investors about his commitment to Tesla, especially after the company's financial performance declined, announcing a 20% decrease in car revenues and a 71% decrease in net income for the first quarter of 2025 in April. Tesla's stocks also faced sharp fluctuations, dropping 15% since the beginning of the year.
Political Role Decline and Continued Influence
As Musk's prominent period in Washington ends, according to "Politico" analysis, his media and political presence is expected to decrease, despite his continued advisory work in the "Government Efficiency Department" two days a week. He announced his intention to reduce political spending in the future, saying: "I plan to spend much less on political campaigns."
However, his political activity has sparked strong reactions, including attacks on Tesla facilities and a decline in his popularity, which dropped more than Trump's popularity according to opinion polls.
When asked about these criticisms, Musk said: "It's acceptable to object to political matters, but resorting to violence, hanging effigies, and threatening someone with death is not acceptable."
Future Ambitions: From "Starlink" to "Neuralink"
In addition to focusing on Tesla and X, Musk revealed his ambition to launch the satellite internet service "Starlink" for public offering in the future, saying: "Starlink may go public at some point in the future." He continues to support his other projects like
