A statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of adhering to the specified timeline as a fundamental condition to ensure the credibility of the political process and meet the aspirations of the Libyan people for stability and development.
The statement indicated that the UN roadmap aims to conduct simultaneous presidential and legislative elections and unify Libyan institutions through the formation of a new unified government.
