The Egyptian Foreign Ministry, in an official statement, highlighted the danger of the American vision regarding the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, emphasizing that any vision for resolving the Palestinian issue should take into consideration the risk posed to the peace gains in the region alongside efforts to contain and address the causes and roots of the conflict.
For the first time, Egypt hinted at canceling peace agreements with Israel, clarifying that addressing the causes and roots of the conflict should be through ending the Israeli occupation of Palestinian land and implementing the two-state solution, as the only way to achieve stability and mutual coexistence among the peoples of the region.
