Turkey Opens Land Borders for Arrivals from Syria Due to Flight Disruptions

The Turkish embassy in Damascus announced the opening of land borders for arrivals from Syria, due to flight disruptions caused by military escalation between Iran and Israel.
According to Anadolu Agency, the embassy stated in a statement on the “Eks” platform: “Turkish citizens, Syrians, and citizens of other countries arriving from Turkey to Syria by air can enter Turkey through land borders, provided they present their flight tickets and a document proving their residency in Turkey.
It noted that “those who meet these conditions can travel to Turkey by land without the need for an additional permit”.
