The discovery of a dismembered girl's body in an advanced stage of decomposition in the mountain of El Wahch in the province of Constantine, 700 kilometers east of the Algerian capital, has caused a stir in the Algerian public opinion. Many attributed the body to the girl Marwa Bougachiche, who disappeared on May 22 after taking her last exam in her life.
Marwa is 13 years old and disappeared under mysterious circumstances without a trace since then, making her case a subject of wide interest among activists and local pages, who linked the incident to the tragedy of the young girl.
However, Marwa's father categorically denied these reports, confirming that the body found is not hers, and that the family still has no news of their daughter. He said: "These are just rumors fabricated by some pages, and we continue to search for her in cooperation with the security authorities overseeing the operation and taking all necessary measures."
Marwa's father added that the family is going through difficult times, with all family members and relatives intensively participating in the search campaign, hoping to find any information that could help locate her.
It is worth noting that Marwa was a diligent student with excellent results, not suffering from any problems or conflicts inside or outside the home. She was leading a normal life at home before suddenly disappearing, which makes her disappearance more mysterious and raises concerns about the circumstances of the incident.
In recent days, there have been rumors circulating about Marwa being with one of her relatives, which her father completely denied, expressing his complete rejection of any talk not based on facts, considering discussing a missing girl of this age without respecting the family's feelings as inappropriate.
The case is still open, and investigations are ongoing to uncover the truth behind Marwa's disappearance, amid the solidarity of the people of Constantine and the security authorities, who are working to gather information to reach the truth.
