US Intelligence Director Reveals "Conspiracy" by Senior Obama Administration Officials to Obstruct Trump

US Intelligence Director, Telesy Gabbard, revealed documents showing movement from the Obama administration to alter intelligence assessments regarding Russia's interference in the 2016 presidential elections, describing it as a "long-term coup" against President Donald Trump.
Gabbard affirmed that "the American people will soon discover the full truth about how the most powerful figures in the Obama administration politically exploited intelligence", noting that this step threatened the will of voters and undermined democracy's stability.
According to Gabbard, the intelligence community agreed months before the 2016 elections that Russia "did not intend or have the capability to interfere in the elections". However, after Trump's victory, the narrative "suddenly changed", with new assessments prepared under White House direction, despite previous reports denying Moscow's influence.
She pointed out that on December 8, 2016, agencies prepared a daily report for the president stating that Russia "did not affect the election results", but it was immediately withdrawn based on "new directives" without publication. The next day (December 9), national security officials, including FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, and National Intelligence Director James Clapper, held a secret meeting at the White House, where "Obama ordered a new assessment confirming Russian interference, contradicting previous evidence".
Afterwards, Gabbard described how "deep state officials" began leaking "false" intelligence reports to the media, such as The Washington Post, alleging that Russia "used cyber means to benefit Trump". On January 6, 2017, Clapper revealed the new assessment ordered by Obama, which "partly relied on the fabricated and abandoned Steele dossier", according to leaked documents confirming Brennan and Clapper's use of the "unreliable" file to support the narrative.
Gabbard described the documents as revealing a "treacherous conspiracy" by senior Obama administration officials to obstruct Trump, stating that "this betrayal concerns every American". She called for a comprehensive investigation and prosecution of the conspirators, announcing that she had handed all evidence to the Department of Justice "to ensure the accountability deserved by Trump, his family, and the American people".
