The General Manager of the Public Electricity Generation Establishment, Engineer Mohammad Fadilah, discussed today, Saturday, with representatives of "UCC" Holding Company, the results of the field tours conducted by the company's delegation in the previous days to improve the electricity situation in Syria.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the delegation's opinions on the suitability of the proposed sites for establishing power stations, with the possibility of modifying them if they are found unsuitable.
The memorandum of understanding signed between the Ministry of Energy and the company at the end of last May includes the construction of electricity generation stations, where company representatives toured the sites of Tartifawi in Aleppo, Maharda and Zizoun in Hama, and Deir Ezzor.
