Diplomats: Trump's envoy to the Middle East will provide a briefing to the members of the UN Security Council on Gaza and Iran on Wednesday.

Sources, who chose to remain anonymous, added that the briefing, to which all 15 Security Council members have been invited, will take place at the US mission to the international organization.
Axios, the first to break the news, stated that Whitecuff is expected to address US policy towards the conflict in Gaza and nuclear talks with Iran.
It is anticipated that Whitecuff will primarily focus on Gaza and a new aid mechanism proposed by Israel and the United States.
Israel has yet to provide many details about the new mechanism. European leaders and relief organizations have criticized Israel's plans to control the distribution of humanitarian aid in Gaza and to use private companies to deliver food to families, after two months of the army blocking supplies from entering the territory.
Last Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the extensive attack on the Palestinian Hamas movement would be "intensive," following the approval of plans by the mini-security cabinet that may include taking control of the sector and managing aid.
