Deputy Governor of Darfur Attacks Rapid Support Forces Government: "Isolated and Dead Since Its Birth"

The Deputy Governor of Darfur and the Governor of Central Darfur, Mustafa Tambour, described the Transitional Government supported by the Rapid Support Forces as "isolated and born dead," challenging it to carry out its duties from any city within the region.
This came during his speech at the national festival to support the Sudanese Armed Forces, where he confirmed that "the Sudanese army enjoys unprecedented support from the Sudanese people," considering that this support should be "a motivation for the army to defeat the Rapid Support Forces."
In a related context, the Chairman of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council and Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, continued his field tours within the capital Khartoum, where he inspected the examination center at the Nilein University, which resumed its activities at its main headquarters.
The official media of the army documented this visit, which comes as an extension of a previous tour that included the areas of Ad Babkr and Al-Haj Youssef in the East Nile locality, where Al-Burhan met with a number of citizens returning to their homes "after the improvement of security conditions," according to the official statement.
These visits come as part of monitoring the situation on the ground and enhancing direct communication between the military leadership and citizens, amidst ongoing security and political challenges in the country.
