The province of Deir ez-Zor started today, Thursday, constructing a second metal bridge opening from the opposite side of the city, with a length of 39 meters.

The province mentioned that the supplies and equipment were brought from the bridge battalion in the city of Al-Rastan, indicating that this step was taken as a temporary solution until the repair of the Al-Siyasiya bridge, which is considered the main bridge between the two sides of the river.

The province confirmed that it has brought the necessary equipment to rehabilitate the Al-Baghouz bridge as part of the bridge repair plan that the province is working on to meet the needs of the people of Deir ez-Zor.
