"Death for a Handful of Flour" .. Gaza Between the Jaws of Fire and Starvation

An unprecedented tragedy in modern history is being experienced by the people of the besieged Gaza Strip, the death toll races against the clock, and death has become routine in this forgotten spot. The harshest forms of death that Gazans face are those that claim their lives in queues that have become a harvest of souls rather than a gathering of aid.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip revealed that the death toll from the Israeli bombardment of the area has risen to 60,933 dead and 150,027 injured since October 7, 2023.

The ministry's statement details what is more serious and indicates that there are still a number of victims under the rubble and in the streets that rescue and civil defense teams cannot reach.


In the past 24 hours alone, hospitals recorded 5 deaths due to starvation and malnutrition, all of whom were adults, bringing the total number of victims of starvation and malnutrition to 180, including 93 children.
