Activists and popular groups in Daraa have called for the funeral procession of the victims of the Israeli occupation's shelling on Harsh al-Jabeeliya west of the city of "Nawa" in the countryside of Daraa, and to protest against the ongoing violations. Local pages affiliated with Daraa province reported "popular calls for mobilization and demonstration against Israeli violations, and participation in the funeral of martyrs after the Dhuhr prayer on Thursday, April 3, at the Rif Revival Center in Nawa." Meanwhile, the "Free Hauran Gathering" stated that "the calls come amidst a state of anger and condemnation, as residents expressed their rejection of the ongoing Israeli attacks on the countryside of Daraa." Israeli occupation attacks last night on Wednesday, April 2, led to "the martyrdom of young men and civilian farmers who mobilized in the surrounding plains of the city following military incursions in the area." Israeli occupation forces deployed dozens of military vehicles and infiltrated the Harsh Sada al-Jabeeliya area near the city of Nawa in western Daraa on Wednesday night, April 2. The infiltration coincided with the Israeli army launching flares above the border villages in the Quneitra and Daraa provinces, seen as a potential security escalation on the southern front. In parallel with the southern Syrian incursion, Israeli warplanes carried out a series of intense airstrikes late on Wednesday targeting military sites in Damascus and Hama provinces, causing consecutive explosions and panic among the residents.
