The U.S. affairs official at the Syrian Foreign Ministry revealed the cancellation of the Paris meetings that were scheduled between the delegations of the Syrian government and the "Syrian Democratic Forces" (SDF), confirming that dialogue between the two sides will remain inside Syria, whether in Damascus or in the northeast of the country.

Idlib said in an interview with "Rudaw" that the technical committees have already begun practical steps on the ground to discuss the details of implementing the March 10 agreement and moving to the executive phase, emphasizing that meetings will continue in Damascus, Hasakah, and other areas in northeastern Syria.

He added that the formula for integrating the "SDF" is no different from other factions that accepted integration into the Syrian army, indicating that the process is still ongoing, and the goal is to unify combat efforts within the framework of a single national army, achieving the country's interests.

He confirmed that Damascus rejects repeating the experience of "state within a state" that other countries like Lebanon have witnessed, emphasizing that stability in Syria will only be achieved through a unified government and a single national army that includes all Syrians.
