The war between Iran and Israel entered its 11th day, and as expected, neighboring countries were not spared from its sparks and damages. In a scene that has been repeated frequently lately, Israeli air defenses intercepted an Iranian drone on Monday while it was flying in the skies of the village of Khirbet Qais in the western countryside of Daraa province in southern Syria.
Local sources reported that the interception operation caused the drone wreckage to fall in several locations inside the village, resulting in material damage in the area. This included shattering the glass of several homes near the crash site, as well as cutting off one of the power lines supplying the area with electricity.
There were no reports of human casualties, but tension prevailed among the residents following the incident, amid continued reconnaissance flights in the airspace.
